Hwasun County (Governor Koo Bokgyu) announced on May 1 that the Hwasun County Youth Center (Cheongchun Deullak) received the Excellence Award at the 2025 Jeonnam Youth Center Performance Evaluation.
This performance evaluation, conducted for the first time this year, was designed to discover outstanding cases through both quantitative and qualitative assessments of youth centers operated by 18 cities and counties in Jeollanam-do. The evaluation also aims to provide incentives to strengthen the competitiveness of youth centers.
Cheongchun Deullak is actively running various programs for Hwasun County youth, including TOEIC and Korean history courses to enhance employment and entrepreneurship capabilities, as well as self-development programs such as real estate, investment, and yoga. The center also offers resume consulting and mock interview support.
In addition, services that provide practical assistance for job seekers, such as free interview suit rentals and support for resume photo costs, have received a positive response from young people.
In this evaluation, Cheongchun Deullak's various employment and entrepreneurship support programs?including the operation of a media workshop, the youth food truck support project, and a program encouraging employment at small and medium-sized enterprises?which were submitted as outstanding cases, received high marks for their implementation of youth-tailored support policies based on the youth center.
Governor Koo Bokgyu stated, "I believe the operation of customized programs that reflect the real needs of young people led to this positive evaluation," adding, "We will continue to spare no effort in providing various forms of support so that young people can settle down and grow in Hwasun."
