To Be Revealed on "My Little Old Boy" Next Month
Singer and broadcaster Lee Sangmin (51) is getting remarried, 20 years after his divorce. Lee Sangmin is currently preparing for a secret wedding with his younger, non-celebrity girlfriend.
The production team of SBS's "My Little Old Boy" confirmed on April 30, "It is true that Lee Sangmin is remarrying a non-celebrity. Details regarding his remarriage will be revealed on the broadcast scheduled for May 11." Regarding whether Lee Sangmin will continue to appear on "My Little Old Boy" and "Shoes Off, Single for Men" after his remarriage, they added, "Nothing has been decided yet."
It has been reported that Lee Sangmin and his girlfriend, who have been in a good relationship until recently, have decided to get married and have been preparing for the wedding with caution. The wedding is expected to take place around early summer. This is earlier than the wedding date of comedian Kim Junho (49) and Kim Jimin (40), which is scheduled for July 13.
Lee Sangmin previously married singer and painter Lee Hyeyoung in 2004, but they divorced the following year. They have no children. Lee Sangmin debuted in 1994 as a member of the group Roo'ra and later worked as a producer for acts such as Chakra, S#arp, and Country Kko Kko. He then transitioned into business, accumulated 6.9 billion won in debt, and has been repaying it since 2005. Last year, he made headlines by announcing on various broadcasts that he had "completely paid off all his debts." Lee Sangmin is currently a regular cast member on SBS's "My Little Old Boy," "Shoes Off, Single for Men," and JTBC's "Knowing Bros."
