At the sentencing hearing for Woo, held on April 30 by the 11th Criminal Division of the Seoul Western District Court (presiding judge Kim Woohyun), the prosecution requested a sentence of one year and six months in prison.

According to the prosecution, Woo is accused of trespassing into the court during the Western District Court riot and injuring reporters by throwing a bag.

On this day, Woo's side stated, "He was heavily intoxicated at the time of the incident," and added, "If you look at the suspect interrogation report, which was prepared without a lawyer present, it says that the victim looked younger than his own daughter and that he is sorry and apologetic for hitting her with a bag."

Additionally, the prosecution requested a sentence of one year and six months in prison each for Yang and another individual who were tried together on charges of trespassing into the Western District Court, and one year in prison for Ahn.

The sentencing for all four individuals is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on May 16.
