Coaching Management Institute Successfully Hosts 2025 Seoul Business Coaching Forum

Coaching Management Institute, a leading organization in leadership and coaching, announced on April 29 (Tuesday) that it had successfully hosted the '2025 Seoul Business Coaching Forum' at Yangjae EL Tower.


This forum, held for the first time in Korea, served as a venue to discuss strategies for enhancing organizational competitiveness and expanding the influence of business coaching in a rapidly changing environment. Approximately 250 participants, including corporate HR professionals, leaders, and professional business coaches, attended the event. The forum was sponsored by the Korea Coach Association, SK Honors Lounge, Coaching and People, and LG Coaches.


The main session began with a conversation titled "The Sense of Work: Reinterpreting Leadership" between Cho Soo-yong, former CEO of Kakao and author of the book "The Sense of Work," and Koh Hyunsook, head coach of Coaching Management Institute. The session received positive reviews for presenting a nuanced perspective on leadership and the importance of employee engagement, linking the ability to evoke empathy and inspiration in others with immersion in the workplace.


Following this, David Clutterbuck, co-founder of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), delivered a keynote on "The Future of Coaching and Mentoring in a Digital World." He examined the current applications of AI and the directions it should take in the future. He emphasized the need to strengthen coaching and coaching supervision through partnerships with AI, offering a forward-looking viewpoint and leaving a strong impression as a global pioneer in coaching and mentoring trends.

The session "Preparing for a New Path: Real Stories of Career Transition," moderated by partner coach Han Geuntae, featured panelists Park Soyeon, assistant professor of pediatric dentistry at Seoul Asan Medical Center; Shin Youngjun, distinguished professor at Gachon University College of Engineering; and Heo Seungho, director at Save the Children. The panel shared the A to Z of successful career transitions, a topic of great interest to many professionals.


Subsequent business coaching sessions included: △The Power of Coaching for Performance Improvement in Social Economy Enterprises through Real Cases, △New Roles, New Leadership: Successful Role Transitions for Promoted or Newly Recruited Executives, △The Blue Ocean of Business Coaching Lies in Startups and SMEs, △Now Is the Era of Co-Coaching, and △Sensory Coaching with LEGO. Through vivid coaching cases presented by professional business coaches, participants discussed the future of business coaching and witnessed the significant impact and positive influence of coaching in real business settings.
