Business Agreement Signed for 7-Day-a-Week On-Site Installation Service
Professional Technicians Dispatched to Customer's Preferred Location and Time
CJ Logistics will be exclusively responsible for the logistics of Kumho Tire's "on-site installation service." As a result, Kumho Tire customers will be able to receive tire replacement services at a professional service center level at any location and at any convenient time, including holidays.

On April 30, CJ Logistics announced that it had signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Kumho Tire to provide mobility services such as on-site tire installation. The signing ceremony took place on April 29 at the CJ Logistics headquarters in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by Daekyu Song, Senior Executive Vice President of Korea Sales at Kumho Tire, Jung Hyun Lee, Business Leader of P&D Transportation at CJ Logistics, and other executives from both companies.
The main focus of this agreement is for CJ Logistics to handle the logistics for Kumho Tire's "Ttorororo On-Site Installation Service." When customers request the service, a mobile service vehicle will visit the location specified by the customer to perform tasks such as vehicle lifting, wheel and tire removal, wheel balance inspection, and tire installation.
CJ Logistics plans to enhance customer satisfaction and help client companies reduce logistics costs by leveraging its nationwide logistics network and shortening delivery lead times (the time from order to arrival).
In addition, CJ Logistics has established dedicated regional logistics centers for Kumho Tire across the country that can handle minor maintenance services such as alignment and engine oil changes. CJ Logistics expects that consumer convenience will be maximized, as on-site installation can now be scheduled for any desired date nationwide, including Jeju Island (excluding certain remote islands and mountainous areas).
The two companies are also accelerating the training of professional technicians to ensure high service quality. Currently, they regularly conduct manual training, standardization of installation, and hands-on training for on-site installation at specialized training centers. They also plan to secure high-quality service capabilities through a customer rating system and key performance indicators (KPIs) for professional technicians.
