Sinan County Records Highest Increase at 2.30%
Objections Accepted Until May 29
Jeollanam-do announced on April 30 that the individual officially assessed land prices in the Jeonnam region for 2025 have risen by 1.42% compared to the previous year.
Jeollanam-do determined and announced the individual officially assessed land prices for 5.47 million parcels, which were surveyed and calculated as of January 1 this year.
As a result of the assessment, all cities and counties in the province saw increases. Sinan County recorded the highest increase at 2.30%, mainly due to changes in zoning such as the designation of urban areas in Aphea-eup. This was followed by Suncheon City at 1.84% and Yeosu City at 1.75%. In contrast, Gokseong County had the lowest increase at 0.52%.
The area with the highest individual officially assessed land price in Jeonnam is the commercial district of Yeonhyang-dong in Suncheon, at 4.32 million won per square meter. The lowest is a cemetery in Nongdeok-ri, Yeongam-eup, at 168 won per square meter.
Individual officially assessed land prices can be checked on the websites of Jeollanam-do and each city and county, as well as on the Real Estate Price Disclosure System. Landowners or interested parties who object to the determined prices may file an objection by visiting the civil service office of the relevant city or county where the land is located, or through the website, until May 29.
Kim Seungchae, head of the Land Management Division of Jeollanam-do, said, "The determined and officially announced individual land prices are directly related to residents' daily lives as they serve as the basis for various taxes and charges. Therefore, we will make active efforts to enhance the accuracy and reliability of the assessment and calculation of individual officially assessed land prices."
