During the meeting, the teams reviewed their respective performance results and shared matters requiring inter-team cooperation for the smooth execution of their tasks.
Additionally, participants discussed ways to support the employment of discharged soldier members and to improve the center’s performance. They also checked the preparations for the center’s major upcoming events.
The Busan Discharged Soldiers Support Center plans to hold touring education and workshops at military units in the Jeju region in May, and its own Job Dodream Day (Job Matching Day) in July.
The Discharged Soldiers Support Centers, which are installed and operated at ten locations nationwide, provide a variety of employment and entrepreneurship support services for discharged soldiers who have served for five years or more as mid- to long-term service members. These services include one-on-one career counseling, provision of recruitment information, payment of training and career transition support allowances, among others. Companies wishing to hire discharged soldiers can contact the Discharged Soldiers Support Center to receive candidate recommendations.
