Park Dongjin, mayor of Masanhappo District Office in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, visited the area around 29-91 Sinwol-dong on April 30 to conduct a preliminary inspection of the site for the "Retaining Wall Safety Fence Installation Project," which is scheduled to begin construction on May 2.

This project is a measure to prevent accidents in advance by repairing the road slope of a retaining wall at risk of collapse and installing a safety fence to prevent falls. It is part of a retaining wall repair project being conducted based on the results of a detailed safety inspection, and is scheduled to take place over approximately two months from May 2 to the end of June.
Materials with the highest priority on safety will be used for the construction, and thorough process management will be implemented to minimize inconvenience to local residents. Upon completion of the project, the safety of pedestrians and daily life for local residents is expected to improve significantly.
Park Dongjin, mayor of Masanhappo District Office, stated, "The most important thing is to eliminate risk factors in advance before accidents occur," and added, "We will carefully inspect any areas with even the slightest risk and make every effort to take preemptive action."
