Support for Seven Items Across Four Fields: Visual, Editorial, Media, and Trademark Services

A project to enhance the brands and designs of small business owners is being launched in Busan.

On April 30, the Busan Metropolitan Government and the Busan Economic Promotion Agency announced the implementation of the "2025 Small Business Brand and Knowledge Service Quality Improvement Support Project" to strengthen the brand competitiveness of local small businesses.

This program connects small business owners in need of design services with design experts, supporting brand improvement and knowledge services. Through the "Hambakkabokka" platform operated by the Busan Economic Promotion Agency, small business owners can directly review the portfolios of design experts and select the expert of their choice.

Design experts can also participate as small business owners, creating a structure that allows for mutual collaboration. Design experts who receive work requests can generate revenue, while small business owners can improve the quality of their brands.

The support areas include four categories and seven items: ▲Visual (brand, packaging, website) ▲Editorial (brochure design) ▲Media (photography, video) ▲Knowledge services (trademark education and application). Each business will receive services worth between 1 million and 2 million KRW.

Busan plans to select 250 small businesses and 50 design expert companies this year. Small business owners wishing to participate can apply through the "Busan Small Business Comprehensive Support Center" website from April 30 until May 30, while design experts can apply until May 23.

Kim Bongcheol, Director of the Digital Economy Office of Busan, stated, "We hope this support project will enhance the design quality and brand competitiveness of small businesses," adding, "We will continue to promote various policies for small business owners in the future."
