On this day, both the zoo and Dreamland will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., one hour earlier than usual. The last admission will be at 6 p.m.

To enhance visitor convenience, the city will open the zoo's annex parking lot (828 spaces) free of charge for the entire day on Children's Day. In anticipation of large crowds, the city has also added a real-time traffic information menu to the zoo's website, allowing visitors to check traffic conditions around the zoo in advance, in an effort to minimize congestion.

In addition, Jeonju Zoo will operate its own integrated situation room on Children's Day to ensure a pleasant and safe environment. More than 50 staff members will be deployed to manage visitor safety, maintain facilities, and respond quickly to emergencies and urgent situations.

Kim Jongdae, Director of Jeonju Zoo, said, "We will do our utmost to welcome visitors so that both children and their families can create safe and enjoyable memories on Children's Day."

Meanwhile, Jeonju Zoo recorded 19,909 visitors on Children's Day in 2021 and 22,196 visitors in 2022. However, due to rain, the number dropped to around 1,000 in both 2023 and last year. The city expects the number of visitors to increase again this year, as the weather is forecast to be mostly clear on Children's Day.
