The meditation application 'Mabo' and Bucheon Ojeong Police Station announced on the 30th that they had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 28th, agreeing to provide free meditation content support for three months to crime victims.
Under the agreement, Bucheon Ojeong Police Station will identify eligible victims for support and guide them on how to use the Mabo app. Mabo, in turn, will provide three-month free passes for its meditation app to those referred by the police station, offering a variety of content aimed at emotional healing, such as emotional regulation, anxiety relief, and self-care, to support practical psychological recovery.
Yoo Jung-eun, CEO of Mabo, stated, "We pursued this agreement out of a desire to accompany those who are on a journey of recovery from suffering," adding, "We want to help victims regain balance in their lives through the tool of meditation."
A representative from Bucheon Ojeong Police Station said, "Psychological recovery for victims is just as important as criminal measures," and expressed hope that "this collaboration will provide practical assistance to help victims return to their daily lives."
