This donation will be used to provide emergency living expenses, temporary housing costs, and housing restoration expenses to help wildfire victims return to their daily lives as quickly as possible.
Since its founding, Air Busan has consistently engaged in donation activities for the local community. Since 2012, the company has been running the "Love Coin Collection" in-flight fundraising campaign, combining the funds raised with company contributions to deliver donations to neighbors in need within the region. In addition, Air Busan continues to support those in need through initiatives such as donating the remainder of employee salaries, donating proceeds from in-house bazaars, and making donations to local welfare organizations.
Jung Byungseop, CEO of Air Busan, said, "I would like to express my deepest condolences to the residents affected by the large wildfires and wish for their swift recovery. Air Busan will continue to fulfill its responsibilities and roles as an airline committed to the local community."
