The 'Gyeonggi Youth Ladder' overseas training program, which is operated for youth from vulnerable groups in Gyeonggi Province, recorded a competition rate of 4.4 to 1.
Launched for the first time last year, the 'Gyeonggi Youth Ladder' is a lottery fund project that provides overseas training opportunities to youth facing social and economic hardships, supporting their career exploration and self-development.
Last year, 95 youth visited Detroit, United States, and Toronto, Canada, from July 22 to August 13, participating in programs such as discussion classes with native-speaking instructors and special lectures on career mentoring.
This year, Gyeonggi Province will conduct overseas training for three weeks in July and August in Vancouver, Canada, and Brighton, United Kingdom.
