China's state-run Xinhua News Agency reported on the 29th that the return of the crewed spacecraft "Shenzhou 19" has been delayed due to weather conditions.
According to the report, the China Manned Space Agency stated on this day, "The weather conditions at the Dongfeng landing site in China do not meet the requirements for the return mission of the Shenzhou 19 crewed spacecraft," explaining the reason for the delay.
Shenzhou 19 is carrying three astronauts: Cai Xuzhe (commander, 48), Song Lingdong (34), and Wang Haoze (34). They departed Earth on October 30 last year and have been carrying out their mission aboard Tiangong for about six months.
The return will be carried out at an appropriate time in the future. The astronauts were scheduled to return to the Dongfeng landing site on this day after rotating with the crew of "Shenzhou 20," which was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Gansu Province, northwestern China, on the 24th (local time).
