Korail announced on April 29 that it will operate 30 additional commuter trains in preparation for the Seoul city bus strike scheduled for April 30.
The additional trains will be concentrated during commuting hours and late-night hours to help disperse passengers and provide convenience.
The temporary commuter trains will run on seven lines: the Gyeongbu Line, Gyeongin Line, Gyeongwon Line, Ilsan Line, Suinbundang Line, Gyeongui-Jungang Line, and Gyeongchun Line.
The additional operations are scheduled as follows: 13 times in the morning, 9 times during evening commuting hours, and 8 times during late-night hours.
