Songjeong Agricultural Cooperative Corporation, Apexel, and Taeyoung Fisheries to Participate in Exhibition and Export Consultation Sessions

Pohang City announced that three local companies will participate in the 26th World Representatives Conference and Export Consultation, organized by the Overseas Korean Traders Association (OKTA), held in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province.

This event will take place at the Andong International Convention Center from April 28 to 30. It aims to broaden export opportunities and strengthen the global competitiveness of the local economy through business exchanges between overseas Korean businesspeople and domestic small and medium-sized enterprises.
The event is co-hosted by North Gyeongsang Province, Andong City, Yonhap News Agency, and Korea Economic Daily, with support from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, KOTRA, and others.
Three Pohang-based companies?Songjeong Agricultural Cooperative Corporation, Apexel, and Taeyoung Fisheries?will participate in the main exhibition and export consultation sessions held from April 29 to 30. They will engage in business meetings with overseas buyers to seek opportunities for expanding exports.
The participation of local companies in this event is expected to solidify the position of Pohang businesses in the international market and serve as a crucial turning point for establishing a foundation for global expansion.
On April 28, Mayor Kangdeok Lee attended the opening ceremony as Chairman of the Korea Council of Mayors of Major Cities. He delivered a congratulatory speech, stating, "This conference will serve as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation between Korean businesspeople around the world and cities in Korea," and added, "I hope this event becomes an important milestone for a sustainable future not only for our region but for the entire nation."
