Sh Suhyup Bank announced on the 29th that it held a proclamation ceremony for the '2025 Financial Consumer Protection Charter Amendment' at its headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 28th.
More than 60 executives and employees attended the ceremony, including Shin Hakgi, President of Sh Suhyup Bank, key executives, and the consumer protection staff panel known as 'Sh Consumer Guardians.'
The amended charter includes practical consumer protection standards that reflect recent changes in the financial environment and trends in financial consumer protection, such as ▲protection of financial consumer rights ▲prevention of incomplete sales ▲support for vulnerable groups.
In particular, during the charter amendment process, employees including the Sh Consumer Guardians directly participated by analyzing various cases that may arise in the field and presenting opinions from the perspective of consumer protection, thereby establishing a direction that prioritizes financial consumer protection as the bank’s highest value.
With this amendment to the Financial Consumer Protection Charter, Sh Suhyup Bank plans to foster a culture in which all employees think and act from the customer's perspective, and to ensure that this culture is sustained as practical financial consumer protection.
