Following this selection, Gyeongnam Information University will operate two specialized departments in the fields of digital technology and cultural content from May to November: the 'One-person Media Creator Department' and the 'Live Commerce Production Department.' These two departments will be offered in separate semesters, one in the first half and one in the second half of the year.

Each program features a practice-oriented curriculum and aims to cultivate practical talents as YouTube creators and show hosts through a total of 180 hours of training.

The curriculum covers everything from planning video content, filming, and editing, to operating live broadcasts and marketing practice. Trainees will run their own YouTube channels and experience real online shopping broadcast environments, as part of a capacity-building program for the cultural tourism sector.

Gyeongnam Information University plans to actively utilize advanced educational infrastructure such as the video production studio, streaming booths, and high-end filming and editing equipment at its Centum Campus. In addition, the university aims to enhance field-oriented educational outcomes through industry-academia cooperation programs with local content specialist companies such as Moka and Kokkiri Media.

Professor Cho Sookhee of the Department of Media and Video, who oversees this project, stated, "Through this citizen college project, we will provide hands-on education that not only develops digital content production skills but also enables participants to understand and utilize online distribution platforms." She added, "We will continue to expand our role as an open university and community college that grows together with the local community."

Gyeongnam Information University plans to build on its successful track record in public education projects such as the YouTube Creator Instructor Course and the B-CON Creative Course to achieve positive results in this year's Busan Citizen College as well.
