Lee Junseok Launches "Let's Eat School Meals Lee Junseok" Platform
Communicates with University Students at the Most Requested School
Dongduk Women's University Ranks First... "Abusing by Specific Sites"
Junseok Lee, the presidential candidate of the Reform New Party, created the "Let's Eat School Meals Lee Junseok" platform to communicate with university students. Dongduk Women's University ranked first as the school with the most requests for his visit. However, it has been found that some of these requests were not made by actual university students, but rather by individuals engaging in "abusing" (manipulating click counts). On the 28th, Lee stated on his social networking service (SNS) account, "There was an abusing incident involving Dongduk Women's University on the Let's Eat School Meals platform, so we tracked the access routes and found that most of the abusing came from a specific gallery on DC Inside and from Clien."
Lee said, "After checking the age groups collected through KakaoTalk login, I cannot understand why people who seem to be men in their 40s and 50s are pretending to be female university students," adding, "It appears that many people on those galleries and sites perceive their own gender differently from reality." The places Lee suspects abusing took place include the Lee Jaemyung gallery and the centrist politics gallery on the online community DC Inside, as well as Clien.
Previously, on the 25th, Lee introduced the "Let's Eat School Meals Lee Junseok" platform, saying, "Now, I want you to decide the presidential candidate's schedule," and "From now on, I will have lunch at university areas." The system allows users to log in to the site and select the school they want Lee to visit. In other words, if university students request Lee's visit, he plans to visit the school with the most requests to eat a meal with students and discuss youth policies.

Immediately after the platform was launched, Dongduk Women's University took the top spot, drawing attention. Last year, Lee strongly criticized the students of Dongduk Women's University regarding the conflict that arose from discussions about transitioning to a coeducational institution. On SNS, he stated, "The essence of the Dongduk Women's University incident is not a lack of communication, but rather 'barbaric violence' in which opinions were expressed through anti-intellectual and anti-civilizational acts even before communication was attempted," and "When their opinions were not accepted, they resorted to extreme violence in the Seoul Western District Court riot and damaged public property at Dongduk Women's University by uncivilized means. The methods and essence are the same." Ironically, the university with the highest level of disapproval toward Lee became the one that requested his visit the most.
In response, Lee said, "The Let's Eat School Meals service collects age and gender information to identify abusers," indicating that there were attempts at abusing by people who were not actual applicants from Dongduk Women's University. According to the data released by Lee, out of approximately 340 applicants, 296 were male and only 48 were female. Furthermore, 123 applicants were in their late 30s to 40s, and 100 were in their late 20s to 30s. The Junseok Lee camp explained, "From 1:30 p.m. on the 26th, the visible statistical figures are based on votes by people in their 20s, and in the case of women's universities, votes by women in their 20s," adding, "Anyone can participate in the voting regardless of these criteria, and the overall voting results will be used internally to decide future visits."
