On April 29, CJ Olive Young announced that its in-house healthy snack brand, 'Delight Project,' will open its first standalone store in Busan, the 'Delight Project Haeundae Branch,' on April 30.



Delight Project is a healthy snack brand that Olive Young relaunched and introduced in January 2021. Signature products such as 'Bagel Chips' and 'Honey Yakgwa' have gone viral on social media as must-buy 'K-tourism shopping items' that capture the taste of Korea, leading to a surge in sales among tourists visiting Korea. Over the past three years, the brand’s foreign customer sales have grown thirtyfold annually. Last year, it ranked among the top 10 most popular brands by foreign sales, surpassing major beauty brands with higher average transaction values than snacks.

The Delight Project Haeundae Branch is a 132-square-meter store located at 42 Gunam-ro, Haeundae-gu, a prime location in Busan. It is a dedicated specialty store where visitors can see the entire lineup of Delight Project products at a glance. In addition to signature items like 'Bagel Chips,' the full range includes traditional snacks such as 'Honey Yakgwa' and 'Myeongin Bugak,' as well as inner beauty products like 'Cleanse Shot' and 'Protein Shake.'


The store features a 'Tasting Bar,' which is always open for sampling, allowing customers to fully experience the brand’s core strengths?healthy yet distinctive flavors and textures. There is also a themed zone showcasing the product creation stories and the most popular items among foreign tourists, making it easier for customers to choose products.


Special products highlighting the local flavor and style of the region have also been prepared. For the first time, the store is introducing 'Seed Hotteok Dalgona,' which uses Busan’s famous 'Seed Hotteok,' a must-try local delicacy for tourists, as well as the Busan-exclusive new product 'Honey Mustard Bagel Chips.' In addition, specialty products made with Udo peanuts and Jeju tangerines from Jeju Island will be exclusively available outside Jeju only at the Delight Project Haeundae Branch. Gift sets targeting commemorative purchases by tourists will also be offered.


Olive Young expects this store to attract foreign tourists and further boost customer traffic throughout the Haeundae commercial district. An Olive Young representative stated, "As 'Delight Project' has gained a reputation as a leading healthy snack brand loved not only in Korea but also by foreign customers, we decided to open the Delight Project Haeundae Branch in Haeundae, which is popular among international tourists.
