Taehun Lee (Canada) has climbed to 175th in the world rankings.
In the men's weekly world golf rankings announced on April 28 (local time), he earned 0.7988 points, moving up 55 places from 230th last week. On April 27, at the Woori Financial Championship (total prize money 1.5 billion won) of the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour held at Seowon Valley Golf Club in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, he defeated Junhong Park and Taeyoung Kang in a playoff to claim the title.

This victory marks Lee's fourth career win and his first since the Hana Bank Invitational in 2021, earning him valuable ranking points. The winner's prize was 300 million won. In a post-victory interview, he said, "My putting had not been good for a while. After switching to a mallet putter recommended by my wife, my putting improved."
There was no change at the top of the rankings, as the PGA Tour hosted the Zurich Classic, a two-man team event that does not award ranking points. Scottie Scheffler (USA), Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), and Xander Schauffele (USA) remained in the top three. Among Korean players, Sungjae Im is ranked 20th, Byeonghun An 37th, Joohyung Kim 38th, and Siwoo Kim 66th.
