[Tomorrow's Weather] Dry Conditions and Strong Winds... Beware of Large Temperature Differences

On Tuesday, the 29th, the weather across the country is expected to be mostly clear with dry atmospheric conditions.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 28th, a dry weather advisory has been issued for most regions nationwide except for Jeju Island on the 29th. Strong winds with instantaneous speeds of 35 to 55 kilometers per hour are expected, especially along the west coast and in the mountainous areas of Gangwon Province.

Due to the dry weather and strong winds, even a small spark could develop into a large fire. Therefore, it is advised to refrain from hiking in the mountains and not to burn trash or agricultural fields.

The morning low temperatures are forecast to range from 3 to 10 degrees Celsius, while the daytime highs are expected to be between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius. The temperature difference between day and night is expected to be around 15 degrees Celsius, especially in inland areas, so extra attention should be paid to health management.

From early morning to morning, frost may form in some areas as temperatures drop to around 0 degrees Celsius, particularly in northern and eastern Gyeonggi Province, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, inland areas of the Chungcheong region, eastern North Jeolla Province, and northern inland areas of North Gyeongsang Province.

The fine dust concentration is expected to remain at a "Good" level across all regions due to smooth atmospheric diffusion.

Wave heights are expected to range from 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea nearshore. In the offshore areas (within approximately 200 kilometers from the coastline), wave heights are forecast to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea.
