The Korea Freedom Federation Busan Branch (President Shin Hanchun) delivered a donation of 12,250,000 won to the Busan Red Cross (President Seo Jeongui) on April 25, 2025, to support wildfire recovery efforts and assist those affected by the disaster.
This donation was raised through the voluntary participation of members from the Busan Branch and its 16 district and county chapters. The funds will be used by the Korean Red Cross for disaster recovery in wildfire-affected areas and to support displaced residents.
Yoon Bangwon, Secretary-General of the Korea Freedom Federation Busan Metropolitan City Branch, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I deeply thank all our members who participated in the fundraising to extend warmth to neighbors who have lost their homes to wildfires." He added, "I hope this donation will help affected residents return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
He continued, "We will continue to work closely with the Korean Red Cross to carry out ongoing sharing activities for disaster-vulnerable groups."
