M&C Solution Achieves Record-High First-Quarter Results... "Driven by K-Defense Exports"

According to the company, revenue for the first quarter of 2025 was KRW 75.1 billion, up 51.7% from KRW 49.5 billion in the same period last year, marking the highest first-quarter performance since its establishment. During the same period, operating profit reached KRW 9.5 billion and net profit was KRW 7.6 billion, representing sharp increases of 413.2% and 424.2%, respectively, compared to KRW 1.9 billion and KRW 1.5 billion in the first quarter of the previous year.

The company cited the expansion of demand for the 'K-Defense' product lineup in the global defense market as the main driver behind these strong results. Following the Russia-Ukraine war, defense budgets have been significantly increased, especially in Europe, as countries actively pursue modernization of weapons systems and strengthening of military capabilities. As a result, exports of Korean weapons systems such as the K9 self-propelled howitzer, K2 tank, Cheonmu, Cheongung, and AS-21 (Redback armored vehicle) are actively underway.

M&C Solution is a specialized company that supplies core drive units and hydraulic systems for these weapons platforms, securing global competitiveness across a diverse range of products, including gun and turret drive systems, suspension systems, hydraulic systems for missile launchers, and servo valves. The in-arm integrated hydro-pneumatic suspension unit (ISU) offers superior shock absorption and driving stability compared to conventional torsion bar systems, and has been adopted for the K21 infantry fighting vehicle and the export version of the AS-21 (Redback armored vehicle) for Australia. This product is emerging as a new growth engine.

The company provides customized solutions optimized for various weapons systems based on advanced hydraulic drive technology, and has established a comprehensive system covering design, verification, mass production, and quality. It continues to maintain close cooperative relationships with major domestic and international defense clients.

Kim Byungkeun, CEO of M&C Solution, stated, "With the growth of K-Defense, we expect to see continued growth in both exports and domestic sales this year. We will proactively respond to next-generation defense demand, which is expanding to satellites, aircraft, and unmanned vehicles, as well as increasing direct exports." He added, "We will strive to become a global motion control specialist by entering the civilian motion control market, developing product lines for the space and aerospace industries, and investing in production automation."
