Customized Vocational Competency Enhancement Education for Adult Learners
The Department of Korean Language Education and Multicultural Studies at Dongmyung University (headed by Kim Sangsoo) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Moritex (represented by Lee Wonho) on April 22 to provide customized vocational competency enhancement education for adult learners.
This agreement was established to ensure the successful implementation of the RISE project, a university support system focused on regional innovation, through collaboration between the Department of Korean Language Education and Multicultural Studies at Dongmyung University and Moritex.
The two institutions aim to contribute to the establishment of a lifelong education system and economic development in the Busan region by providing vocational competency enhancement and retraining programs for adult learners. To achieve this, they plan to closely cooperate in various areas, including joint operation of adult learner-friendly programs, mutually beneficial cooperation for university and regional development, and the exchange and utilization of human resources from Moritex.
Kim Sangsoo, head of the department, said, "We expect this to make a significant contribution to building a lifelong learning network in the local community and nurturing talent."
