Guidance on Residency Contracts for Interested Parties Underway
Goheung County in South Jeolla Province (Governor Gong Youngmin) announced on April 28 that administrative procedures for the 'Saekkum City Development Project,' which is being established in Seokjeong-ri, Geumsan-myeon, are entering their final stages. The county also stated that expectations are rising for the full-scale launch of the project.
'Saekkum City' is a residential complex development project focused on improving living conditions and promoting population inflow. The plan includes a total of 76,571 square meters of land in Seokjeong-ri, Geumsan-myeon, with sites for 100 single-family homes, as well as land for neighborhood living facilities and community facilities.
The site is adjacent to Doyang-eup, offering the advantage of excellent residential conditions and access to established living infrastructure.
Currently, various permits and approvals required by relevant laws are underway. The project operator, Goheung German Village LLC, is simultaneously conducting preliminary contract procedures for prospective residents. As interest in 'Saekkum City' continues, the county expects that these preliminary contracts will lead to actual agreements with future residents, providing a stable foundation for the project's progress.
A county official stated, "'Saekkum City' will go beyond simply developing residential land to become a key residential space shaping Goheung's future." The official added, "Once administrative procedures are completed in the first half of the year, we plan to begin construction of the infrastructure in the second half."
