Children's Day Event to Be Held in Masan Area for the First Time This Year
A Memorable Day Filled with Diverse Performances and Experiences
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam will hold the "Changwon Children's Grand Festival" at the 3·15 Marine Nuri Park on May 5, 2025, in celebration of the 103rd Children's Day.
The Children's Day event, which has traditionally been held at Yongji Culture Park, is being prepared for the first time this year in the Masan area to provide children from various regions with the opportunity to participate in cultural events. Next year, it is scheduled to be held in the Jinhae area.
This event, hosted by Changwon Special City and organized by ACT, will begin with a commemorative ceremony that includes the reading of the Children's Rights Charter and the presentation of awards to exemplary children and contributors to child welfare. The program will also feature a talk concert with a famous YouTuber, as well as a variety of performances designed to capture children's interest, such as a recycling band performance, a magic show, a puppet show, and a children's club DJ.
In addition, various experience booths will be operated to satisfy children's five senses, including air sports experiences, job experience programs in cooperation with Masan Fire Station, Masan Jungbu Police Station, and Changwon Coast Guard, a seatbelt safety experience with Korea Expressway Corporation, and a range of craft activities prepared by child-related facilities and organizations. These are expected to receive an enthusiastic response from families attending the event.
Changwon Special City expects that this event will allow children to create precious memories by enjoying a variety of performances and experiences with their families. The city also plans to continue its efforts to create a "happy city where children can live well."
