iM Bank (formerly Daegu Bank) announced on April 28 that it has newly opened the Magok Financial Center in Seoul to expand its business network following its transition to a commercial bank.
The center is located in an area with stable corporate finance demand, as it houses research facilities of large companies such as LG Science Park and more than 200 advanced industry companies. To commemorate the opening, iM Bank operated the iM Mobile Branch, broadcasting promotional videos about the opening on vehicle LED displays to inform local residents. The bank also visited nearby shops and offices to distribute commemorative gifts and conducted close-contact marketing activities.
Previously, iM Bank had established branches in adjacent metropolitan areas such as Wonju in Gangwon Province, Gasan in Seoul, and Dongtan in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.
Hwang Byungwoo, President of iM Bank, stated, "The Magok Financial Center is located at the heart of a knowledge industry complex based on the convergence of advanced technologies within the Magok Industrial Complex. It will play an important role as a technology finance partner for tenant companies." He added, "As iM Bank marks its first anniversary as a commercial bank, we will realize the vision of a New Hybrid Bank and become a reliable financial partner that grows together with our customers."
