On this day, at the 2025 Won-Buddhism Great Enlightenment Day commemoration ceremony held at the Central Headquarters of Won-Buddhism in Iksan, North Jeolla Province, Handoksoo expressed these remarks through a congratulatory speech delivered by Vice Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Jang Miran.

Handoksoo emphasized, "Consideration and harmony are values that transcend time and are the direction our society must pursue together," and stressed, "In particular, we will do our utmost to ensure that marginalized neighbors can find great courage through stronger and more comprehensive welfare policies."
