Check Waiting Numbers and Call Numbers
The city explained that the system was introduced in response to increasing inconvenience, as an average of about 300 people visit daily for passport issuance or application, often resulting in wait times of two to three hours or early closure of applications for the day.
On the homepage’s main screen, an icon labeled "Passport Service Waiting Status" has been placed, allowing citizens to check, in real time, the number of people waiting for passport issuance and collection, the current call number, and whether applications have closed early. When users select the icon, they are automatically directed to the waiting status page, where they can easily access this information.
The city expects that, with the introduction of this system, citizens will be able to check the number of people waiting in advance and avoid crowded times. In addition, after receiving a queue ticket, users can monitor the real-time call number, allowing them to manage their waiting time more efficiently.
A city official stated, "We believe this real-time waiting status system will help reduce crowding and waiting times for citizens. We will continue our efforts to provide better, customer-oriented civil service in the future."
