Achieved Zero Penalty Points for Two Consecutive Years in 21 Inspection Items
National Busan Science Museum (Director Song Samjong) has been selected as an "Outstanding Public Disclosure Institution" for achieving zero penalty points for the second consecutive year in the "2024 Integrated Public Institution Disclosure Inspection Results" organized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The Integrated Public Institution Disclosure is an inspection system conducted three times a year on 21 items, including new recruitment, employee welfare expenses, and balance sheets, to enhance responsible management and disclosure reliability of public institutions. This year, the inspection was carried out for 310 institutions nationwide, including quasi-governmental institutions, public enterprises, and other public institutions.
According to this year’s inspection results, 14 out of 310 public institutions nationwide were selected as outstanding public disclosure institutions, and among other public institutions, only four, including National Busan Science Museum, received this recognition.
Since being designated as another public institution in 2017, National Busan Science Museum was also selected as an outstanding public disclosure institution in 2021. This year, the museum achieved zero penalty points for all inspection items for the second consecutive year and enhanced the accuracy and reliability of management disclosures by advancing a pre-inspection system based on participation from all employees.
Song Samjong, Director of National Busan Science Museum, stated, "Marking the 10th anniversary of our opening, we will do our utmost to further strengthen internal operations as a public institution and to ensure even more accurate and transparent information disclosure for communication based on public trust."
