to Urban Residents at the 2025 YFarm Expo
Jindo County, South Jeolla Province (Governor Kim Heesu), announced on April 28 that it participated in the '2025 YFarm Expo' held at Suwon Convention Center from April 25 to 27, promoting return-to-farming and return-to-village policies as well as local agricultural specialties to urban residents.
This expo was organized to provide useful information and opportunities to those interested in returning to farming or rural life. Approximately 120 organizations, including local governments, institutions, and companies, participated in promoting return-to-farming and return-to-village initiatives, attracting the attention of prospective returnees.

During the event, the county operated a customized on-site consultation center for return-to-farming and return-to-village inquiries and showcased outstanding local agricultural specialties, actively promoting Jindo County's unique policies and products.
In particular, the expo featured various policies such as 'Experience Rural Life,' returnee housing, and moving cost support. The county also actively highlighted Jindo's natural environment and the characteristics of its agriculture.
A county official stated, "Through our participation in this expo, we were able to showcase the appeal of Jindo County to many urban residents, and it was a significant achievement to provide valuable information to those considering returning to farming or rural life."
