Yesan Police Station Books Teacher Without Detention
on Charges Including Drunk Driving and Assault
An incident occurred in Yesan, Chungnam, where an elementary school teacher chased and assaulted elementary school students while intoxicated, prompting a police investigation.

Yesan Police Station announced on the 28th that they have booked Teacher A without detention on charges including drunk driving and assault.
According to Asia Economy's coverage, on the afternoon of the 26th at around 5:40 p.m., Teacher A came outside to scold students who were making noise in front of their home.
When the students fled on their bicycles, Teacher A, who was intoxicated, drove their own car and chased them to the front of a kindergarten in Sapgyo-eup, Yesan-gun. There, A is accused of catching up to the students riding bicycles, knocking them down, assaulting them, and causing injuries.
According to the police, it was confirmed that Teacher A had driven under the influence of alcohol.
A police official stated, "We are investigating Teacher A to determine the exact circumstances of the incident and whether there are any additional charges."
