Global secondary battery materials specialist L&F announced on April 28 that more than 60 of its employees participated in the '2025 Dalseo Hyonanum Day' volunteer event held at Haksan Park in Dalseo-gu, Daegu.
At the event, which took place on April 26, L&F employees personally assembled 'Love Hyonanum Boxes' containing carnations and daily necessities, and delivered them to 500 households of elderly people living alone in the local community who are considered vulnerable.
This event, organized by the Dalseo-gu District Office in Daegu, was planned to promote the value of filial piety in the community ahead of Parents' Day in May.
One employee who participated in the volunteer activity shared, "Although it's a small gesture, I hope it brings comfort and joy to the elderly. It was even more meaningful to spend a rewarding time with my colleagues, and I am grateful to the company for providing such a meaningful opportunity."
Park Jaehoon, head of L&F's General Affairs Team, stated, "Sharing is one of our company's core values. Through this volunteer activity, our employees had time to communicate with the local community and grow together on their own initiative. We will continue to strive to be a company that has a positive impact on the community through various social contribution activities in the future."
Meanwhile, L&F has been practicing the values of sharing and volunteerism every year through various social contribution activities. Since 2015, the company has continued a variety of initiatives for community development, such as briquette volunteer work and supporting sharing campaigns. Last year, L&F supported low-income and vulnerable groups through the 'Hope+ Kimchi Sharing' event, and in 2023, contributed to community development by sponsoring the 'Wolgwang Moonlight Sharing Walk' event to promote environmental protection and the culture of sharing.
