"Seongseong Xi Lake Park" Second Round: Special Supply on April 28, First-Priority Applications on April 29

GS E&C has launched the sales process for the second round (221 units) of "Seongseong Xi Lake Park," a large-scale apartment complex supplied through the Seongseong 8 District urban development project in Seongseong-dong, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do. The model home opened on April 18, marking the official start of sales.

Applications for the second round of units will be accepted via Korea Real Estate Board's Cheongyak Home, starting with the special supply on Monday, April 28, followed by the first-priority applications on Tuesday, April 29. The winners will be announced on Monday, May 12, and the contract signing for successful applicants will take place over three days from Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25.

For first-priority applications, anyone aged 19 or older who has held a subscription savings account for at least six months and meets the regional and area-specific deposit requirements, and who resides in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, Daejeon Metropolitan City, or Sejong Special Self-Governing City, can apply regardless of the number of homes they own. Both heads of household and household members, as well as current homeowners, are eligible. There are no restrictions on repeat wins or resale, and the initial financial burden has been eased by setting the contract deposit at 5%, with the first installment fixed at 10 million won.

The industry expects strong interest in this round of applications. This is attributed to the high future value of the area, which is forming a new residential town with over 20,000 households around Seongseong Lake Park, and the continued favorable reviews due to the premium design of the Xi brand.

An industry official stated, "In particular, in the area around Seongseong Lake Park, complexes that have already completed occupancy are being traded at a premium of hundreds of millions of won above the initial sales price, and recent projects have seen successive sales successes. As a result, there is significant interest from buyers hoping to secure a unit early."

In fact, around Seongseong Lake Park, a unit of 84 square meters in "Cheonan Prugio Lakeside," supplied through the Cheonan Seongseong 2 District development, was traded at 620 million won in March this year, which is 200 million won higher than the original sales price of 410 million won (Source: Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport actual transaction data).

Additionally, in November last year, both "Cheonan I-Park City" and the first round (883 units) of "Seongseong Xi Lake Park" attracted thousands of applicants and achieved successful sales. In March this year, "ePyeonhansesang Seongseong Lake Park" received approximately 20,000 first-priority applications, recording an average competition ratio of 17.49 to 1.

Meanwhile, Seongseong Xi Lake Park is a large-scale apartment complex consisting of eight buildings, with two basement levels and 39 above-ground floors, totaling 1,104 units. All units feature a single exclusive area of 84 square meters. The second round of sales includes 93 units of type 84A, 67 units of type 84B, and 61 units of type 84C.

With the start of the main application period, a variety of events are also being held. For the second round, a lottery will award a gold bar worth 10 million won to the first prize winner, and three gold bars and a Costco membership to the second and third prize winners, respectively.

Applications for the sales event can be submitted from the special supply application date on Monday, April 28, until Saturday, May 10. Winners will be announced on Sunday, May 11.

In addition, there are SNS certification events, and all visitors to the model home will receive generous gifts. Customers who receive consultations at the model home are also eligible for a premium wine giveaway.

The Seongseong Xi Lake Park model home is located in Buldang-dong, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan, and move-in is scheduled for February 2028.
