Chonnam National University Successfully Concludes Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Talent Joint Recruitment Fair

Chonnam National University announced on April 28 that it successfully concluded the '2025 Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Talent Joint Recruitment Fair,' which was co-hosted by the city of Gwangju and Jeonnam Province.

The fair, held on April 24 at the Chonnam National University Convention Hall, was attended by approximately 3,000 people, including local high school students, university students, and young job seekers. The event was organized to expand practical recruitment connections between public institutions that have relocated to the Gwangju-Jeonnam Joint (Innovation) City and local talent, and to strengthen the employment capabilities of young people.

Main programs included a recruitment briefing session by relocated public institutions, a recruitment counseling center, as well as employment consulting and experience zones, providing participants with up-to-date, on-site recruitment information.

In addition, the Chonnam National University Career Plus Center, in collaboration with the Employment Welfare Plus Center, operated a booth to promote customized employment services for current students and specialized programs for graduates.

President Lee Geunbae stated, "As a flagship national university, Chonnam National University will strengthen its ties with public institutions to open broader opportunities for local youth, and will continue to expand practical employment support programs." He added, "Chonnam National University will grow together with the local community and do its utmost to create an environment where local talent can plan their future within the region."
