NH Nonghyup Bank Launches Agri-Food Voucher Event

Customers Who Spend Over 20,000 Won with Vouchers at Hanaro Mart
Will Receive Instant White Rice as a Gift

NH Nonghyup Bank announced on April 27 that, starting from May 1, it will launch an event in collaboration with Nonghyup Hanaro Mart to promote the use of agri-food vouchers and increase the consumption of domestic rice.

During this event, customers who purchase more than 20,000 won worth of products using agri-food vouchers at Hanaro Mart locations nationwide will receive Korean Nonghyup instant white rice (three bowls of 210g each) as a gift. A total of 20,000 bowls have been prepared, and the event will end once the supply is exhausted.

The agri-food voucher program is designed to support the purchase of fresh agricultural products, aiming to ensure balanced nutrition for vulnerable groups and to expand the foundation for sustainable agri-food consumption. Eligible recipients are those who have been issued an agri-food voucher card, which can be used at designated locations to purchase domestically produced vegetables, fruits, meat, and other products.

Nonghyup Bank was selected as the exclusive financial institution for the agri-food voucher program in August last year, and Hanaro Mart is participating as a designated store.

A representative from Nonghyup Bank stated, "The agri-food voucher program is not only a support measure for vulnerable groups but also an important initiative to strengthen the competitiveness of our agriculture sector," adding, "We will further expand events such as those promoting domestic rice consumption to vitalize the program and enhance support for local farmers."
