A man in his 30s was arrested by police in Iksan, North Jeolla Province, for killing his parents.
On April 26, Iksan Police Station urgently apprehended a man in his 30s, identified as A, on charges of parricide. A is accused of stabbing his father and mother multiple times with a weapon at around 12:51 p.m. that day, resulting in their deaths.
Police responded to a report from A's older sister, who stated, "I think my younger brother killed our parents," and apprehended A at the scene. A told police that "my parents tried to kill me, so I did it," but police said this claim was not credible.
