On the afternoon of April 25, the Chungnam Provincial Office of Education announced that it conducted a "Visiting Parent Training for Respect for Life and the Development of Student Character and Human Rights" at the Benikea Hotel in Seosan, targeting approximately 100 parents from the province.
During the training, Dr. Oh Seungjoo, an expert in psychotherapy, was invited as a guest lecturer. The program included a variety of educational content based on an understanding of human dignity, the world of life of children and adolescents, the limitations of human rights, and the values of the community.
Superintendent Kim Jicheol stated, "The number of students experiencing psychological and emotional crises is increasing in our rapidly changing society. It is more important than ever for schools and families to deeply understand and pay close attention to students. The educational community must work together with one heart to support students' healthy school life and mental well-being."
Meanwhile, the Chungnam Provincial Office of Education plans to continue operating the visiting parent training program in the future, aiming to help create healthy home environments, stabilize students' emotions, and enhance the character and human rights awareness of the educational community.
