A Special Experience Blending with the Night Sea of Yeosu
Yeosu City in South Jeolla Province announced that its signature street culture performances, "Romantic Busking" and "Youth Busking," have begun.
According to Yeosu City on April 25, "Romantic Busking" and "Youth Busking," street culture performances where citizens and tourists can come together, will be held from this day until October 25.
"Romantic Busking" will take place every Friday and Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Jongpo Marine Park and Nangman Pocha. This year, a large number of talented buskers who are actively performing both domestically and internationally are scheduled to participate, promising to deliver an even more sophisticated stage than before.
"Youth Busking" will be held every Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Yeomun Park, Ungcheon Shopping District, and Soho Dongdong Bridge. The performances are expected to showcase vibrant stages filled with youthful energy, and will also be held in a touring format at popular locations such as Jinnam Shopping District and Heungguk Shopping District, allowing people to enjoy performances more closely and familiarly in their daily lives.
Buskers who wish to participate in the performances can apply online until May 7, and the final selection will be made through a public audition on May 24. Detailed information can be found on the official website for Yeosu's street culture performances.
A city official stated, "This year's busking program has been prepared with both diversity and quality in mind," adding, "The streets of Yeosu will be transformed into stages overflowing with emotion and passion."
