Cheorwon Cultural Foundation to Host Free Movie Screenings
for Children's Day at Small Theaters from May 3 to 5
On April 25, Cheorwon County in Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Lee Hyun-jong) announced that the Cheorwon Small Theater, operated by the Cheorwon Cultural Foundation, will hold a free movie viewing event titled "2025 Small Theater Let's Play Together! Childlike Cinema" to celebrate the 103rd Children's Day.
The event will take place over three days, from May 3 to May 5. On the first day, May 3, at 2:00 p.m., "The Great Night: Demon Hunters" will be screened at the Tturu Theater in Cheorwon-eup. On May 4 at 2:00 p.m., "Secret Jouju: Magical Harmony" will be shown at the Sambuyeon Theater in Galmal-eup. On May 5 at 2:00 p.m., "Thunderbolts" will be screened at the Dalbit Theater in Seomyeon.

Advance registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from 9:00 a.m. on April 28 until 6:00 p.m. on May 2. Both online and phone registrations are available. If the number of advance registrants falls short of capacity, on-site registration will be available for the remaining seats.
Shin Jung-chul, Head of Operations at the Cheorwon Cultural Foundation, stated, "In celebration of Family Month, we hope that Cheorwon residents can create happy memories by enjoying movies together with their families."
