A Variety of Performances for the May Holidays, Including the "Tinyping Sing-Along Show"
Lotte Water Park Opens Outdoor Facilities for Water Fun Starting in May
In celebration of Family Month in May, Lotte World Adventure Busan (Lotte World Busan) and Lotte Water Park have prepared a variety of content and events.
At Lotte World Busan, there are plenty of attractions for the whole family, from fireworks displays to performances like "Singing with Tinyping," which is designed to appeal to children, as well as bubble shows. Lotte Water Park will begin full-time operations starting in May, partially opening its outdoor facilities. During the holiday period, the park will offer everything from K-POP dance performances to a range of on-site prize events, making May an even more enjoyable time for families.
Lotte World Busan is currently holding a spring season festival in collaboration with SAMG Entertainment's popular IP "Catch! Tinyping."
During the festival, visitors can enjoy a variety of limited-time seasonal content, including Tinyping photo zones, merchandise, and photo time events. In particular, a special performance, "Singing with Tinyping," will be presented throughout May. This sing-along show invites the audience to join in singing popular OSTs from "Catch! Tinyping," featuring the characters Hachuping, Bbanchakping, Chorongping, and Bitnaping, who will captivate the audience.
There will also be a surprise quiz segment during the show, promising an extra layer of fun. "Singing with Tinyping" will run from May 1 to May 11, and detailed information about the performance can be found on the official Lotte World Busan website.
To mark Family Month in May, Lotte World Busan will present a spectacular fireworks display. "Fireworks with Night Parade," which combines a parade with dazzling fireworks, will be held daily during the three-day holiday from May 3 to May 5, and then every Saturday night throughout the month of May.
For Children's Day, Lotte World Busan has also prepared special content tailored to children's tastes.
The "Wonder Mini Bubble Show" on the Wonder Stage features performers making a surprise entrance and creating various shapes of soap bubbles in time with Lottifriends children's songs. The countless bubbles of the show, reminiscent of a magic performance, will offer children a fantastical, storybook-like experience.
There will also be a parade in which guests can participate and enjoy. During the signature "Lottis Magic Forest Parade," performers will stop and lead guests to join the parade through lively dance, allowing anyone to become a part of the parade and feel like its star. Both the "Wonder Mini Bubble Show" and the guest participation parade will be held from May 3 to May 5, and more details can be found on the official Lotte World Adventure Busan social media channels.
Lotte Water Park in Gimhae will begin full-time operations and partially open its outdoor water park facilities starting May 1, officially kicking off the season. The outdoor wave pool "Giant Wave," which boasts the largest scale in Korea at 135 meters in length, offers thrilling fun as a massive artificial wave, 2.4 meters high, rolls in with the sound of a ship's horn. Visitors can also enjoy the "Tornado Slide," where you can ride a tube through swirling waters, and the "Double Swing Slide," which features dynamic curves, both available with the opening of the outdoor water park.
The newly opened year-round slide "Magichook" features a family slope with a stable straight course and a giant slope with fast, curving sections, allowing everyone from children to adults to enjoy tube sledding together.
From May 3 to May 5, Lotte World Busan will hold surprise prize events. The "Nostalgic Paper Draw" event offers instant prizes on-site, with a variety of merchandise available as giveaways.
Participation is available on a first-come, first-served basis to those who follow the official Lotte World Busan social media accounts, and it is expected that everyone, from children to adults, will feel the excitement of receiving a Children's Day gift. The event will take place at 2:30 p.m. in front of the Underland Cave, and further details can be found on the official Lotte World Adventure Busan social media channels.
Lotte Water Park has also prepared a variety of events during the holiday period. At the outdoor "Wave Stage," there will be two daily MC-led recreation sessions featuring mini games such as giant ball dodgeball and disc flipping, with prizes awarded to the winning teams. At 2:30 p.m., a student dance team will perform a K-POP dance show. In the main lobby and outdoor water park, the Lotte Water Park character "Pengyo" will appear for special photo opportunities, and visitors who upload photos to social media will receive a cute "Pengyo" keyring as a gift.
The "Wonder Door," which connects Lotte Water Park and Lotte Hotel & Resort Gimhae, will open on May 1. This exclusive gate for Lotte Hotel & Resort Gimhae guests allows for quick entry to the water park without waiting, and the short route between the hotel and the water park is perfect for enjoying a private and relaxing stay. Room packages with "Wonder Door" access can be purchased on the official Lotte Hotel & Resort Gimhae website, and information about usage and operation is also available on the official Lotte Water Park website.
