The "Rural Mobile Clinic Bus" is a medical service that visits rural areas with limited access to hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies. Supported by national funds (40%), provincial funds (9%), county funds (21%), and NongHyup (30%), this project provides free medical services?including both Western and traditional Korean medicine consultations, health counseling, physical therapy, and vision tests with magnifying glasses?to farmers and other residents living in medically underserved rural areas.

Goryeong County was selected for the 2025 Rural Mobile Clinic Bus project and, in cooperation with Goryeong NongHyup and Donggoryeong NongHyup, will enable approximately 600 local farmers to receive medical benefits.

On April 25, the first round of the Rural Mobile Clinic Bus, organized by Goryeong NongHyup, provided services to about 300 residents of Daegaya-eup, Deokgok-myeon, and Unsu-myeon.

The second round, organized by Donggoryeong NongHyup, is scheduled for May 13 and will serve residents of Seongsan-myeon, Gaejin-myeon, and Ugok-myeon.

Governor Lee Namcheol stated, "Operating the mobile clinic bus is the first step to ensuring that all local residents can enjoy a healthy life." He added, "We expect this project will make a real difference in addressing gaps in medical care in underserved areas, and we will continue to do our best to create a vibrant and happy rural community where everyone wants to live."
