Supporting Partner Companies with Talent Recruitment, Training, Internships, and Job Placement
Hyundai Motor and Kia announced on April 25 that they will launch a shared growth program that supports partner companies with talent recruitment, education, internships, and job placement all in one process.
This project, called 'Here We Go!', offers young talents interested in the automotive industry the opportunity to receive specialized automotive job training and internships at top partner companies. It also supports partner companies in need of talent by matching them one-on-one with outstanding individuals who have completed the training.
The program targets young people aged 19 to 34 who wish to work for excellent Hyundai Motor and Kia partner companies. In particular, reflecting feedback from last year's participating partners and trainees, the number of selected trainees will be increased from 80 to 160 this year, and the program will be expanded to three rounds by region.
In the Yeongnam region, applications for trainees will be accepted from April 25 to May 12. Sixty trainees will be selected and will participate in a four-week training program at the Hyundai Motor Group Global Partnership Center in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do.
In the Seoul metropolitan area, applications will also be accepted during the same period. Seventy trainees will be selected and will participate in training at the Small and Medium Business Training Institute of the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do. In the Chungcheong and Honam regions, applications will be accepted from July 3 to July 17, after which 30 trainees will be selected for a four-week training program at the Chungcheong Training Institute of the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency.
Those who complete the training will receive a completion stipend and the opportunity to experience a three-month internship at a top partner company. Trainees who achieve excellent results during their internship will be given the opportunity to be converted to full-time employees at the respective partner company.
A Hyundai Motor and Kia official stated, "We have prepared this program to provide young talents with quality automotive job experience and internship opportunities, and to create mutually beneficial jobs through recruitment connections with partner companies. We will continue to do our best to support partner companies' recruitment in various ways in the future."
