"Gangnam Achu" means "Making Memories for Gangnam Children." This large-scale children's festival is organized by the Gangnam-gu Childcare Support Center and the Gangnam-gu Association of Daycare Centers ahead of Children's Day. Approximately 3,000 people from 174 daycare centers are expected to participate.

This festival will feature a total of 34 programs across five themed zones: the "Festa Zone" focused on play and performances, the "Play Zone" filled with creative experiences, the "Family Zone" for families to enjoy together, the "Safety Zone" for learning about everyday safety, and the "Food Zone" offering healthy food options.

The "Festa Zone" serves as the main stage of the festival. It is packed with experience booths decorated with various themes such as camping, wood, and architecture, as well as play facilities like Thomas Train, Track Bounce, Sandbox, and Big Block, where children can freely run and play.

At the outdoor bookshelf of the Motgol Hanok Children's Library, there will be a storytelling session titled "Aladdin's Fairy Tales." Exciting performances such as a magic show and a Disney medley show will take place in succession, further enhancing the festive atmosphere. At the photo zone "Monet's Garden," families can capture special moments together.

The "Play Zone" is a hands-on space designed to foster children's creativity. There are a total of 10 craft experience programs, including making keyrings, flutes, and sun catcher fans, allowing children to learn and have fun by making things with their own hands. In addition, dynamic performances such as a drawing show, bubble show, and magic show will add to the excitement of the festival.

The "Family Zone" is a space where parents and children can communicate and create memories together. It offers a variety of activities that combine play, science, and art, including assembling musical instruments, kids rider experiences, decorating mugs, a music playground, launching balloon rockets, and assembling rubber-powered cars.

In particular, practical yet entertaining programs such as coding, making anti-lost bracelets, preparing mosquito repellent spray, crafting grasshopper flutes, and experiencing bead ice cream will greatly stimulate children's curiosity.

The "Safety Zone" is an educational space that combines experience and learning. Relevant organizations such as health, disease control, resource recycling, fire, and police departments will participate to provide practical safety education. Hands-on programs include CPR training, proper handwashing experience, anti-drug campaigns, prevention of drug misuse, fingerprint registration for missing child prevention, and experiencing an AI-powered unmanned PET bottle collection robot.

The "Food Zone" is a space that energizes the festival with food. Safe meal ingredient suppliers in Gangnam-gu, including CJ Freshway, Ourhome, Eco Food Korea, Chaeum Food, and Healing Food, will participate to provide meal kits and snacks tailored for children.

This festival will be held with group participation from local daycare centers, but individual participants can visit the venue on the day of the event without a separate reservation.

Mayor Cho Sungmyung stated, "I hope this day will be one where children can run and laugh to their hearts' content," and added, "We will continue to strive to make Gangnam a child-friendly city where children are happy and where policies are tailored to their perspective."
