This project is a nationwide educational program designed to help citizens, including digitally marginalized groups, utilize advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) in their daily lives.

The 2025 curriculum consists of five practical courses: understanding and utilizing generative AI, digital basics and real-life applications, prevention of financial and electronic financial fraud, and hands-on training with smart devices. These courses will be offered throughout Daegu from the end of April to early December.

In particular, at the request of Daegu City, a customized course will also be offered, including instruction on how to use the "Daegu City Integrated Reservation System."

Starting this year, Daegu Catholic University will operate a central education center, providing a "Digital Experience Zone" where participants can directly interact with kiosks, AI devices, and digital health equipment. Through these initiatives, the university aims to enhance citizens' real-time problem-solving skills and overall digital competency.

Additionally, to improve accessibility, the university will offer mobile outreach education and operate an EduBus (a digital education vehicle), delivering customized programs to underserved areas such as welfare centers, senior centers, and lifelong learning centers. Any group of three or more people is eligible to apply for the training.

A representative from Daegu Catholic University stated, "Being selected for the second consecutive year recognizes the university's social responsibility and capabilities as a regional hub for digital education. We will continue to actively support all citizens so they can benefit from digital technologies in their daily lives."

Applications for the training are available through the Digital Learning Center website, and all Daegu citizens can participate free of charge.
