Gyeongbuk Technopark is recruiting up to 29 e-mobility parts companies in the Gyeongju and Andong regions to participate in the 'Local Industry Promotion Project' from April 22 to May 12, 2025.

This project was selected in an open call organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups at the beginning of 2024 and aims to strengthen technological competitiveness and promote resource circulation through the transformation of the e-mobility parts industry.

Selected companies will receive support of up to 50 million KRW per year (with a separate 10% company self-contribution).

The detailed support programs include: ▲support for new technologies and new products, ▲prototype production, ▲product advancement, ▲professional consulting for promising companies, ▲support for identifying technology gaps, ▲marketing support, ▲certification support, and ▲package support.

Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized enterprises with headquarters or factories in Gyeongju or Andong. Applications can be made in the field of e-mobility industry-related products (technologies) that apply strategic materials such as aluminum and plastic to promote resource circulation, both upstream and downstream.

Applications are only accepted through the Regional Industry Promotion Business Support System, and further details can be found on the Gyeongbuk Technopark website under business announcements.

On April 30, a project briefing session will be held at the Gyeongbuk Technopark Future Automotive Advanced Materials Forming Processing Center (Oedong-eup) to enhance understanding of the project and encourage participation from many companies.

Hainseong, President of Gyeongbuk Technopark, said, "Our institution will do its utmost to strengthen the competitiveness of local companies as a reliable supporter."
