Korail Gwangju Headquarters announced on the 24th that it had conducted a joint campaign with related organizations for Railway Traffic Safety Month at Gwangju Station Plaza and the railroad crossing.

This campaign was organized to prevent safety accidents and to promote a culture of respect for life. The campaign was carried out jointly with the Buk-gu Gwangju Mental Health Welfare Center, the National Railroad Authority, the Korea Transportation Safety Authority, and the Honam Railroad Vehicle Maintenance Division.

The main topics included: ▲ escalator safety usage guidelines ▲ railroad crossing transit procedures ▲ suicide prevention and the promotion of a culture of respect for life ▲ fire response procedures on trains. Korail Gwangju Headquarters distributed promotional materials and provided on-site guidance to citizens.
