SOOP Introduces 'SAVYG Video Balloon' for Interactive Content
SOOP announced on April 24 that it has expanded the number of streamers eligible to use its generative artificial intelligence (AI) video maker 'SAVYG' to around 3,000. For the first time, this expansion includes virtual streamers such as Uwakkud and Isagae Idol.
SAVYG is a generative AI video service implemented based on SOOP's proprietary technology, 'MotionGPT.' The AI learns from streamers' replay videos, analyzes their speech patterns, facial expressions, and movements, and automatically generates videos that reflect these characteristics. When a streamer is away, SAVYG can fill the gap by generating videos, and it can also be used as a means of emotional interaction with fans.
'SAVYG Video Balloon (SAVYGpoong)' is a representative feature that utilizes SAVYG. Users can indirectly participate in content by gifting SAVYG-generated content, allowing them to communicate with streamers at the same time.
SOOP plans to further expand SAVYG's application to all streamers and integrate generative AI technology across its platform to build an emotion-based content ecosystem.
Meanwhile, to commemorate the expansion of SAVYG, SOOP is holding a participation event for users until May 7. A Galaxy S25 will be awarded to both the user who gifts the most SAVYGpoong and the streamer who receives the most SAVYGpoong. A Galaxy Watch will be given to the streamer with the best reaction to a SAVYGpoong sponsorship and to the user who sent the content.
