Netmarble Confirms Release of New "Seven Knights Rebirth" on May 15

Netmarble has announced that its new collectible role-playing game (RPG) "Seven Knights Rebirth" will be released in Korea on May 15, 2025. "Seven Knights Rebirth" is a remake of Netmarble's 2014 mobile RPG "Seven Knights." While inheriting the fun and sentiment of the original, the game has been reinterpreted to reflect the latest trends.

Prior to the launch, Netmarble held a user-invited preview day on April 24, where the company introduced the game in person. During his welcoming remarks, Kim Jungmin, CEO of Netmarble Nexus, stated, "We approached the development of Seven Knights Rebirth with the determination that this would be the last Seven Knights we make." He emphasized, "One resolution that we deeply engraved while making this game was to create a long-lasting service based on sincere communication."

"Seven Knights Rebirth" continues the original's characters, content, story, and music, while reinterpreting the character designs with a unique style exclusive to "Seven Knights Rebirth." In particular, the core fun element of Seven Knights, "strategy," has been designed to be felt through a variety of content. In the growth dungeon, players can utilize specific effects to make gameplay easier, and in raid content, each boss has different strategies and effects, providing the enjoyment of experimenting with various hero combinations and tactics.

The representative system of Seven Knights, "Jjoljak," also remains intact. Jjoljak refers to a cyclical structure in which players grow heroes by playing adventure content, acquire paid currency through this process, and then use it to obtain more heroes and currency. In addition, "Seven Knights Rebirth" has added various convenience features, such as allowing players to acquire heroes simply by logging in, so that anyone can enjoy the game without burden.

Previously inconvenient elements have also been improved. Battles have been designed so that basic attacks flow naturally, allowing all heroes to be used evenly. A "grinding system" has also been introduced, which enables the game to continue the set repetitive play even after the player exits the game.

After the domestic launch on May 15, Netmarble plans to update the game every two weeks. New hero content and a variety of events will be introduced, and content featuring hidden stories of the heroes, such as mini scenarios, is also in preparation. In particular, a large-scale special event commemorating the "Month of Sena" is scheduled for July.

In addition to the ongoing developer notes on official channels, Netmarble plans to establish a regular communication channel. The development team will open a two-way communication platform where they can directly answer user questions and listen to various opinions, and they have stated that user feedback will be reflected in the game.

Netmarble is currently conducting pre-registration for "Seven Knights Rebirth." Users can participate through app markets, the official brand site, and Naver Lounge. All users who pre-register will receive a package worth 109,000 won, which includes "Legendary-grade Rachel," "10 Hero Summon Tickets," and "1 million gold," among other items.
